Keep Trying

Folding the cup can be a little trying at first and keeping it folded while inserting can be challenging as well, but after using it for two cycles now I’ve definitely gotten more used to it. My cervix sits high so getting it back out is… cave diving. However, it is doable so don’t panic if you struggle! My first cycle using it I had A LOT of cramping that was relieved as soon as I removed it. The second cycle was muuuccchh more comfortable, no added cramping, and my cycle was two days shorter than usual too. I use the 13mL cup and on a heavy day it lasts around 7 hours. Overall I do recommend as it is so much more eco friendly and lasts so long, however it is a commitment, so you can’t let yourself be intimidated by it. Deep breaths, keep calm, it’ll be worth it in the end. :)

Pretty Good one issue

I've used 4 different brand cups before the Bfree cup. I like that this cup is easier to clean, has a shorter length, and isn't staining. Unfortunately the one thing I am still struggling with is getting the cup to open up. I don't know if it's because it is relatively soft, the shape of the rim, or the lack of tiny holes. I've tried multiple folds, different positions, inserting to different depths, etc... but still, around 3 out of every 5 tries it just won't fully open. This means it leaks and I keep having to try again. I really want to stay with this cup because the cleaning aspect is a MASSIVE plus but only if I can get it to consistently seal. I've used it for 2 cycles and will keep at it for another 2 to see if I can get the hang of it. With past cups I never had issues with the cup opening up and sealing but cleaning them is what led me to Bfree.

a decent beginner cup

my bfree cup arrived a few days before my period began, when my period started it was difficult to keep down long enough to insert, it took me two full days to get it to comfortably fit, i suppose my nails were too sharp because the stem broke on first trying to take it out. (tip : flexing and grabbing the textured cup edges works much better)

i chose this cup because i heard it was firm, which made it easier to stay up and not leak during workouts, playing etc, and i’ve got to say at that, it is good,i’ve done heavy swimming, running and climbing without leaking or discomfort, though you’ve got to insert relatively quickly because it is prone to pop open.

now with all my small critisms, i do really enjoy this cup, i only need to think about my period twice a day, just pop a pain med and life continues as normal, and if properly inserted it causes no discomfort durning the day or durning resting, overall i’d say pretty good, if you’re already experienced and active it is definitely a pop in and keep living thing, if you’re fresh to menstrual cups and or less active during the day i’d suggest a different brand with softer, but more easily leakable materials

thanks for reading!

Takes a lot of practice but it’s great

This is not my first cup, but I do like it better than my other one. I like the color- less weird than a clear one for some reason. The nubbin at the bottom is sometimes not enough to grab onto, and this cup took a LOT more practice to get the hang of. A lot of swearing with one foot up on the toilet trying to give birth to the thing. And honestly, trying a different size did not help that. I wish it was a little easier to grab onto, but it’s still solid and more convenient than any other alternatives I’ve tried. Also seems to be less leaky than my other cup from a different brand. Like, once it’s up there it’s not going anywhere.

Great product.

Takes a little getting used to inserting, to fine the exact right place. But once you find what position works best for you, it if so easy to use.
