The Bfree Cup is the only antibacterial menstrual cup made of 100% medical grade silicone. With no added chemicals, or toxins, the entire surface of the Bfree Cup is physically antibacterial. Nothing harmful going into your body. Just comfortable, convenient period protection. Better for you, and better for our planet! The Bfree Cup sits inside your vagina, collecting your period blood during your menstrual cycle. When your cup is full—remembering to wash your hands first— simply empty, rinse, and reinsert. Bfree Cup antibacterial technology means your cup doesn’t need to be boiled in between cycles. When you are ready to put your cup away (yay!), just rinse and wipe it clean.
Includes your Bfree Cup, a biodegradable bag and reusable tin.
The bfree cup is the only menstrual cup that doesn't require inconvenient and sometimes inaccessible sterilization by boiling. By replicating the natural phenomenon known as the lotus effect, the surface of the bfree cup prevents bacterial growth when simply rinsed and wiped after every use.
Made with unique features like a leak proof rim, internal ribbing instead of small holes to break suction, and the distinctive base and stem, with its textured grip. The bfree cup is super easy to use.
I will always use cups from here on out. This was my first cup, so i can't compare it to other brands. However I will say insertion and removal were easy after the first couple of times. I hardly felt the cup inside me. I never had one leak, and i was never concerned about leaks even though i would leave it in for 12 hours. I recommend looking this brand up on YouTube before buying to see the sizes and thickness of the cups. The quiz on the site was also helpful, and i feel that I have the right size for me.
I'm not new to menstrual cups and was drawn to this due to not needing to boil clean it. Being a busy mum, I'd often forget and then have to use tampons for my first day (which I hate).
After two cycles I can say that the Bfree cup is brilliant and everything I hoped.
My only issue is that the cup is very firm material and sometimes unfolds while trying to get it in place. This means it can take me a couple of attempts getting it in! Having said that though, I've not had any leaks, which happened with my other ones. Extracting it is fine and the overall design is good.
Shipping to the UK took a few weeks but customer service is very good, and it was well packaged.
Would definitely buy again.
After two uses of the bfree cup, I can say I really liked it! It's very easy to rinse clean, the silicone is soft but not so soft it doesn't seal.
I did find it sometimes made it uncomfortable to pee but only the first time, not the second, so it might have been placement.
The insertion is easy. Extraction did require a bit of bearing down/squatting etc and figuring out how to use my fingers effectively. But it got much easier as I improved my technique.
Also, I used it to get pregnant, and it worked, so, there was that!
This is not the first cup I’ve used and I’m happy to say it was definitely more secure than others I’ve tried. No leaks at all! I got a double pack in two different colours. The only thing I don’t like is that one of the colours seems to be made with a thicker material; one is easier to fold and maneuver while the other is more difficult. I could see that posing a problem for new users for sure. Overall though....excellent purchase!
Got a size 1 to replace my old stained diva cup. It looks smaller than my diva cup but I feel like the capacity is similar -- this one doesn't have any holes near the top.
Took a cycle to get used to the different shape, but now it's no problem. The material feels noticeably different and washes really well.
