from 245 reviewsPerfect menstrual cup! I’ve had this cup a few months now and I absolutely love it. I was previously using a saalt cup but I would always experience leaks no matter what. I have had no leaks since using the bfree cup and it’s so convenient that you don’t have to boil it. I also love how the bfree cup has no little holes that become impossible to get clean.
I found it unfolds really easy one you put it in and is really comfortable to have in for long periods of time. My friend has also recently got a bfree cup and she is also really happy and impressed with it.
I love the Bfree cup! I can't compare it to other period cups because it is the first and only one I use. However I am happy that it has no tiny holes to clean because I realized a lot of people were having issues with that and it does not need to be boiled either. The size guide suggestion has been a perfect fit for me. The cup is a bit slippery which is good when inserting but could take some getting used to for first timers. I had an issue with my initial order, my cup was stripping after I washed it with mild soap so I reached out to them and they helped me sort the issue, and also sent me a replacement for my worry.
I've had my cup for about a year now and I use it every menstrual it's just so comfortable and easy to use for me now. I clean it with the Diva wash so I would suggest sticking to menstrual cup washes only, if you clean your cup with soap. I'll tell anyone willing to listen about the bfree cup. It is indeed an amazing product.
I had an unexpected experiencie but they replaced my cup, I received it some days ago and I feel very happy for their commitment, responsability and transparency. Thank you very much
Hi 👋🏽 I’ve used the clear diva cup (it is fussy to clean and stains) and another more bulbous pink cup (that kind of pinched my bladder off, stained, and was uncomfortable). I love 💗 bfree cups. These bfree cups are by far the best! They have a smooth surface that doesn’t hold stains. The suction to your insides is perfect. You can use the smaller one when you just start or come off your cycle. I recommend emptying your cup more often until you get used to your flow to full cup situation - with these. No leaks happened, but just empty it more than once or twice per day on heavier days (of course). If you are new to putting them in then you might like to lay down and raise one leg 🦵 a little to learn the position that works well for you. Remember it is normal for your cervix to come down in position during different stages of your cycle. I love this cup the best!!! Thank you bfree and thank you for your initiatives.
The bfree cup has replaced my original cup and I am NOT going back! Material somehow soft but sturdy, antibacterial, women owned, amazing cause we are supporting when purchasing, amazing customer service…what more can we ask for!?! I am getting my sisters and friends to all switch to the bfree cup :)
It is a great product overall, however it is much longer/taller than the other menstrual cups I have used, so I feel like the sizing is wrong. I wish it where a little wider to maintain capacity, but not have the bottom of the cup so close to my vaginal opening. I also wish it was a little more ridged. I don't like having to be careful about making sure it opens. I love how easy it is to clean though, and that is doesn't stain. I like the little bumpy nub at the bottom for pulling it out. I will probably order a size Small instead of the Medium though because I guess my cervix is lower than I thought. It hasn't been an issue with other cups in the medium size, but it seems like these cups are taller than I am used to.
First cup I have ever used and after a lot of research and finding other women who have similar medical concerns and have had kids and struggle with pelvic floor weakness I can across bfree and their multi size cup pack. I ordered a 2 and a 3. I found that the 2 works and doesn’t leak but the 3 was surprisingly more comfortable and I didn’t have to keep pushing it back in after moving around a lot. I have an active lifestyle so having one that doesn’t need adjusted is a big plus. And the fact it comes in a reusable storage tin and a small bag for travel is very convenient. Because of medical issues I have my cycle can be a bit unpredictable and having one in my bag ready with some period panties in the bag provided is perfect aid to keep me worry free and live a more normal life style, being able to go out without fret.
I just want to seat thank for making this cup! I have been using a few different brands of cups for several years now, however each one was not my “perfect cup”, some were painful to wear or simply didn’t fit me. But Bfree cup is a completely different story!!! I’ve had no of my other issue I’ve had in the pass! And it’s sooo easy to clean!!! Thank you!!!
I like this cup better than any other I have owned.
The panty is comfortable and washes well. I feel so happy that I will be eliminating so much waste from landfills.
It took a couple cycles to get the hang of this cup, but I'm definitely happy with it. It's both soft and flexible but also firm enough to really stay put. I think the rim design helps with having less leaks, which I only have a little bit on heavier days. Also, my period isn't all that heavy, for reference, I only need a liner after the first few days.
Over the past year and a half, I've tried about five different cups, searching for the one that would be my "goldilocks cup," just right for me. I liked the standard Diva cup and defaulted to using it for lack of a better option, but it wasn't until the bfree that I had a cup I felt I could really trust to stay put and not leak at all. I got the two pack, and use the size 2 for early heavy days, size 1 for lighter days toward the end of my cycle. This has been the perfect balance for me. Easy to put in and take out, and I LOVE that I don't have to boil it between cycles.
This bfree cup is the best invention for women. The fact that it just has to be rinsed because of the material to the well thought out design. It took a few tries to get it right but since I got it, it has really changed my experience for when my period arrives. It's better and lasts longer than a tampon and is safer. I hardly feel it . The only think difficult with this cup was learning to insert it. Once you learn that, it becomes so easy. Also I save so much money in the long run because I don't have to buy tampons or pads anymore. Also no more worries about leaking into bedsheets at night. Totally recommend this product!
After having a c-section, I was in bed for about 6 weeks and in quite a bit of discomfort. I was very against the diaper idea so when I stumbled onto these dreamer pantys... I was like YEP! They were exactly what I needed and definitely a step up from the lovely diapers they supply you with at the hospital! They have a slight compression which felt amazing on my beautiful new scar, I felt confident and felt truly supported with my postpartum bleeding. I bled for 6 weeks and I wore only the dreamers daily and nightly! I never leaked, I felt comfortable even with the amount of blood and I felt good about myself. Which in all doesn't seem like a priority but when you have just birthed a full human it feels great to feel confident and good about yourself. I wore them day and night. They were so easy to clean! I never noted any staining on the gusset. (it is black, so I may just not have seen it but definitely a bonus) Now, since my period has come back I wear them on the first couple days as it feels so great with my cramps, and just a backup in case I leak... which luckily I never do because the Bfree cup is the best! I absolutely love my pantys and I am so thankful to have found them for my postpartum experience!
I have been using the bfree cup for three months now and I am loving it.
Pros
It can hold a lot of fluid. I have kept mine in for as long as eight hours and it was not close to overflowing (I'm not sure if that is possible). I don't have to change it out every couple of hours like I would for a tampon.
It is comfortable. Because it goes inside, there is no labia suffocation or irritation.
It is reusable. Pay a little extra money upfront then save big time for the years to come. This also means less waste so better for the environment.
Cons
It takes some getting used to. If you can feel it once it's in, you probably put it in wrong. Watch the tips video (from bfree and there are a few on YouTube) but know that even after watching these, you'll still have to figure it out. DON'T GIVE UP. Practice is important and it only gets easier. I found it easiest to insert it while sitting on the toilet.
You will leak a little. I wear a pantyliner with my cup on my heavier days. Wear something extra especially as you figure out how to use the cup.
I have worn this cup swimming, doing CrossFit, running, doing jiu jitsu, and heavy lifting. It stayed in place great. There was one time I put it in wrong and I felt it wanting to come out on heavy front squats but that was because I put it in wrong. The next time I did heavy front squats, it stayed put.
Big Takeaways
1) It takes some getting used to.
2) Don't give up.
3) It's totally worth it.
